NGC 6340


The centered and the brightest galaxy is NGC 6340, an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation Draco located approximately 55 million light years away. Moving to the bottom left, is IC 1251, a spiral galaxy with a magnitude of 14.23 (B). On the bottom right, there is IC 1254, another spiral galaxy with a magnitude of 15.00 (B). More galaxies can be seen on right part of the image belonging to a nearby cluster (Abell 2260). Analyzed overlay will help you visually identify those.
