NGC 6229


NGC 6229 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Hercules located at about 100,000 light years away from earth. Its pretty small compared to other nearby globular clusters with a magnitude of 9.38 (B) and an angular size of 4.8 arcmin (2.0 for the core).
