NGC 2872


There are 3 galaxies in the photo. The right one is NGC 2872 which is an elliptical galaxy located in the constellation Leo, approximately 146 million light years from the Milky Way. The left one is NGC 2874 which is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Leo, approximately 172 million light years from the Milky Way. The last one which is on top of this two galaxies, is NGC 2873 which is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Leo, approximately 148 million light years from the Milky Way.
