M65 and M66


To the left you see Messier 66 or M66, also known as NGC 3627, is an intermediate spiral galaxy. To the right you see Messier 65 is an intermediate spiral galaxy about 35 million light-years away. Both of those galaxies are in the equatorial constellation of Leo.
